4th Workshop of the Helmholtz Association “Cross Programme Activity Structural Biology”
Dear colleagues,
The 4th Workshop of the Helmholtz Association “Cross Programme Activity Structural Biology” will be held on November 20th and 21st 2017 in Düsseldorf.
The workshop will be hosted by the Forschungszentrum Jülich and the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf and brings together researchers from various Helmholtz Centers and Research Fields (DESY, DKFZ, DZNE, FZJ, HMGU, HZB, HZI, KIT, MDC) of the Helmholtz Association and collaborating institutions (CSSB, EMBL, FMP, TUM, Uni Düsseldorf) to present and exchange current structural biology research in understanding structural mechanisms in biology and biomedicine.
The workshop also hosts the thematic working group “Structure-Based Drug Discovery” of the Helmholtz Portfolio Programme “Wirkstoffforschung”.
The meeting will cover current topics of integrated structural biology in the Helmholtz Association focusing on structure and dynamics of biological macromolecules and their complexes, featuring new technologies and infrastructures, structural cell biology and structure-based drug discovery.

Accommodation
A limited number of rooms for external participants have been reserved at Hotel Favor (134,90 Euro/room-single use and 146,90 Euro/room-double use) and Hotel-Düsseldorf-Mitte (87,- Euro/room).
