ERC Consolidator Grant at FZJ for Dr. Wolfgang Hoyer

Prestigious accolade and millions in funding for Jülich Alzheimer’s researcher

Dr. Wolfgang Hoyer from the Jülich Institute of Complex Systems – Structural Biochemistry (ICS-6) is to receive one of the renowned Consolidator Grants from the European Research Council (ERC). He is to be provided with roughly € 2 million in funding over a period of five years for the BETACONTROL project. Over 2,300 scientists from across Europe had applied for the grant in the ERC’s latest round of calls.
