Computational SB

Structural biology critically depends on efficient computational approaches for structure calculations to derive structural models from experimental data. Moreover, structure modelling combined with sparse experimental data are powerful approaches in integrated structural biology to bridge the gap from the atomic scale to cellular resolution. Computational structural biology expertise at HMGU, FZJ and KIT is well interfaced with experimental techniques. Structural bioinformatics integrates structural information with systems biology to provide a genome-wide analysis of regulatory networks (i.e. in alternative splicing, signalling)
